Podcast Launch One-Sheet

Defining the audience, mission and format of a podcast is much more important than choosing the right microphone. It’s also much harder! But our podcast launch one-sheet is a great way of taking the thoughts about a podcast project that are swirling around your head and applying a little rigour and process to them.

So download it, print it out, and take yourself off to your favourite café. Give it an hour or two. See what you dream up.

You may not have considered some of the questions. You may not be able to answer all of the questions. But they’re the right questions to ask.

To help you understand the kind of answers that can be useful, we’ve also included a fictitious example on the second page. Here, we imagined that a company which makes contactless payment terminals came to us to make a show which helped them demonstrate how easy and impactful it is for small, cash-only businesses to enter the brave new twenty-first century world of accepting card payments!

Remember there are an infinite number of ways podcasting can solve challenges, and this is only one single example for a completely made-up project!
