Jake is an award-winning journalist and documentary maker bringing a wealth of experience and a range of odd visa stamps to Message Heard. Specialising in the extremities of human interest whilst at VICE, he then moved on to radio at the BBC which eventually led him to founding Message Heard.

Andrew has over 25 years of hands-on leadership experience of scaling and growing business.

He brings a passion for delighting clients and developing teams that create memorable experiences.

Sandra is a Head of Production at Message Heard, as well as Executive Producer and Story Editor for Message Heard Originals and Co-productions. Sandra has crafted podcasts and radio content for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the United Nations and The Guardian, among others.

Harry is a writer and producer who loves telling compelling stories about fascinating people, and has done so for podcasts, platforms and publications in the US, UK and Europe. When he’s not doing that, you’ll most likely catch him eating ramen, watching Man United or listening to Dylan - often simultaneously.

Mark Kendrick


Producer

Mark has been infatuated with audio since the age of 6 when he visited an open day at his local BBC Radio station. He has gone on to make branded podcasts since 2007 and loves hearing stories that inspire and entertain. Mark is often out cycling but if not on two wheels he can be found in his local record shop trying to find that elusive vinyl, doing some complicated lego build or at Roots Hall cheering on Southend United Football Club.

Emma Crampton

Producer

Emma is a producer at Message Heard. She has produced radio and podcast content across the BBC, the United Nations, Magic Radio and The Telegraph… but her career highlight has to be speaking to Miriam Margolyes on the phone.  She is a very proud owner of her rescue dog Goldie, happiest when swimming and is a keen advocate for wearing colour (she just forgot to when this photo was taken).

Project Producer & Sound Lead

Tom is Message Heard’s resident audio nerd and plant obsessive. He brings his extensive experience in audio production, sound design and startups to manage our important branded projects and help shape our sound. When he’s not intensely staring at spectral frequency displays and spreadsheets, you can find him in a recording studio in Peckham getting overexcited about bleeps and bloops.

Originally from South Africa, Lincoln is a podcast producer with a decade’s worth of experience in audio journalism. He loves cricket, football, hip-hop and professional wrestling and will try his best to sneak all of those things into conversation somehow.

Kirsty had worked in freelance production on commercials, feature films, and documentaries. having worked across a diverse range of projects globally.now, with her experience in branded content and narrative, she is keen to support the telling of great stories through podcasting.

Archan is a Production Coordinator at Message Heard. Some of his previous work includes being the lead Managing Editor of The Economist’s audio edition, as well as coordinating on some hit shows for Sony Music Entertainment, which has involved asking people how they would like to die, and defrosting three fully grown lobsters in the kitchen sink, among other things. Outside the podcast office, Archan can be found catching the latest movies in the cinema, or trying to contribute something of worth to a pub quiz on a Sunday night.

Christopher PHIn

Creative content lead

Chris brings decades of experience in storytelling to his work at Message Heard, helping clients tell the stories that matter to them in a way that audiences can’t get enough of. He lives in Dundee in the north east of Scotland, and as well as hosting and guesting on podcasts, he’s also turned his passion for the transformative power of ebikes into a TikTok and Instagram channel. When Blu isn’t nursing his four year old daughter, he’s nursing his record collection. With a background in radio / DJ’ing Blu has played at many events nationwide and hosted his own radio show whilst living in Australia. More recently, he’s moved onto projects focussing more on audio engineering / sound design and in his spare time Blu enjoys swimming, gaming and film night with the family.
